  • bulging disks,
  • herniated disks,
  • spinal stenosis,

  • facet syndrome,
  • injured or diseased spinal nerve roots,
  • spondylosis,
  • or those suffering from symptoms of a failed spinal surgery in the neck or low back.
  • Chronic Back Pain
  • Degenerative Disc Disease
  • Disc Bulges
  • Disc Rupture or Extrusion
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Failed Back Surgery
  • Spinal Strain/Sprains

Most neck and back pain sufferers have the feeling of being overly compressed or having too much tightness in and around their spine. Clinical studies done by the Health Sciences Center at the University of Texas have documented decompression’s ability to actually lower the intradiscal pressure to negative levels, studied by the Departments of Neurosurgery and Radiology.

Is Spinal Decompression Painful?

Spinal decompression is not painful. Treatment sessions typically are short, lasting between 12 and 30 minutes. It is extremely rare for patients to report any pain during treatments. Usually, patients will feel a stretch in their spine that feels relieving to most. In fact, many people fell totally relaxed due to nature of the therapy.

How Quickly do patients feel relief and results?

Patients very often feel a noticeable difference in their pain and mobility in just a few sessions of spinal decompression therapy. The number of sessions needed in conjunction with your specific treatment plan will be determined by your Doctor. We may recommend a specialized course of care that includes other treatment options that will complement your spinal decompression therapy. This may include chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy and home care instructions.

What happens after I finish my decompression session.

Post decompression therapy, the Doctors will have you perform spinal stabilizing rehabilitation. This vital part of the process takes approximately 7 to 9 minutes. You will utilize the powerful effects of whole body vibration training, on our Power Plate vibration trainers. This will allow the tissues, discs and supporting fluids in the body to normalize and stabilize. Power Plate adds an additional layer of relief and support to the decompression experience. Patient report, faster, healing, longer periods of stability and generally feel better after each session.

After spinal decompression therapy, your spinal discs (especially bulging or herniated disks) can retract and remove pressure from the nerves and other parts of your spine. In turn, your body will ideally benefit from an increased flow of oxygen, water, and nutrients into your disks, promoting healing in the disks and spine.

We look forward to consulting with you and helping you determine if spinal decompression is right for you.
