Our Mission
Across the deserts of the American Southwest, the Ocotillo stands as a living symbol of strength, resilience, and renewal. Often called the “Little Torch,” it bursts into vibrant bloom after the harshest seasons, lighting the landscape with life and offering protection and guidance to those who journey through the desert. Throughout generations, the Ocotillo has carried a quiet mythology — a symbol of perseverance, a natural guardian against adversity, and a reminder that healing often follows hardship.
At Ocotillo Chiropractic, we are proud to carry forward the spirit of this symbol. Just as the Ocotillo flourishes by adapting to its environment and standing resilient against the elements, we are committed to guiding our patients through their own health journeys with strength, clarity, and purpose. Our mission is to serve as trusted partners in the pursuit of lasting health and vitality, offering expert care, compassionate support, and a steadfast commitment to every individual who walks through our doors.
We look forward to meeting you. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals in health and life.
The Focus of Chiropractic Care
The goal of Chiropractic care is to optimize the function of the nervous system, by detecting spinal misalignments. The nervous system, consisting of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, is responsible for controlling and coordinating all bodily functions. By ensuring proper alignment of the spine, chiropractic care plays a crucial role in promoting overall health and often times alleviating pain. This alignment allows for uninterrupted nerve communication throughout the body, facilitating the restoration of well-being.
How Can Chiropractic Care Help You?
Many people dismiss chiropractic as being something only for back pain, but chiropractic care can be used to help a wide variety of physical issues, such as migraines and headaches, chronic pain, carpal tunnel, pain due to injury or muscle strain, and much more.
The History of Chiropractic Care
The word “Chiropractic” is derived from the Greek words “cheir” (hand) and “praktos” (done) combined to mean “done by hand.” It was chosen by the developer of chiropractic care, Daniel David Palmer. In 1895, D.D. Palmer performed a chiropractic adjustment on a partially deaf janitor, Harvey Lillard, who later reported that his hearing had improved due to the change.
D.D. Palmer opened the first chiropractic school two years later, and in the century since, chiropractic professionals have used spinal adjustments to help people prevent and cope with back pain, carpal tunnel, muscle strain, headaches and migraines, and a variety of other physical ailments. Millions of people benefit from the work of Dr. Palmer today.

"Unbelievable service and help. I called in with a serious back injury. The same day they worked hard to get me in and took the time to show me what was wrong. It was far more serious then I thought. Their professionalism and customer service made scary news manageable and reassuring. If you are in need of a chiropractor you’d being doing your self a disservice by going anywhere but else."
